Humatrope was both developed by and is available for sale in the U.S. and Europe through Eli Lilly. Humatrope is manufactured by Protein Secretion technology. In the U.S., the Food and Drug Administration (FDA — an agency that regulates the medicine market) has approved Humatrope for treatment of pediatric and adult GHD, idiopathic short stature, and growth failure in females with Turner’s syndrome. Humatrope is available in lyophilized form that must be mixed prior to usage. Delivery options include both a syringe and pen.
